Understand What Jesus Did

The best place to start is making sure that you understand that God's desire for you is to live a life in relationship with Him. His love for you is the reason He sent His son to die on the cross to pay for your sins. He wanted nothing to separate you from Him so He took the penalty of your sins so you can be cleansed and set free!

Accept The Gift

Confess Your Sin

Confessing your sins before God is next. God wants us to realize that we really have done wrong. He wants us to confess to Him that we see our sin and that we know the only way we can be redeemed is through His forgiveness. We confess our sin to Him and ask for His forgiveness to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Give Your Life Back

Have you ever had someone give you a really awesome gift and you think to yourself "WOW. I really want to give THEM something too!" This is your chance. Christ came to redeem us from our sin and give us a new heart. You've already confessed and agreed that you're a sinner and asked to be forgive and cleansed. Now is when you give your life back to Him fully. Surrender every part of your life and allow Jesus to transform you day by day!

Believe In Christ's Sacrifice

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, took on human form and lived a perfect life, died on the cross and was raised from the dead. He did this to pay for OUR sins and as a result, He bridged the gap between God and us. Be sure that you believe this is true and that you believe that you truly have been forgiven of your sins through Christ's love and sacrifice!
